Narendra Damodardas Modi was born to a family of grocers in a town called Vadnagar in Mehsana district of Gujarat. He was born on 17 September 1950. His parent’s name is Damodardas Mulchand Modi and Heeraben Modi. The couple had six children among which Narendra Modi was the third eldest. As a child Narendra Modi dreamed to serve nation as an Indian Army. He wanted to study in Sainik school located nearby Jamnagar but couldn’t join because there was no money to pay the fees at home. Let’s go to the main topic, about his political life.

 

Narendra Modi is the 15th prime of our country INDIA, who belongs from BJP (BHARTIYA JANTA PARTY). He joined BJP in 1985. He was assigned to the BJP by the RSS in 1985. In 1988, Modi was elected organizing secretary of the Gujarat party unit, marking his entrance into electoral politics. He rose within the party, helping organize L. K. Advani’s 1990 Ram Rath Yatra in 1990 and Murli Manohar Joshi’s 1991–92 Ekta Yatra (Journey for Unity). As party secretary, Modi’s electoral strategy was considered central to BJP victory in the 1995 state assembly elections.
